MrBeast is set to surpass T-Series as YouTube's top channel. Kjellberg was in the midst of a battle for YouTube's number one spot because another channel — the Indian music label T-Series — was closing in. Now, for MrBeast, history is repeating itself, except this time, he is the one closing in on YouTube's biggest channel, T-Series, And it looks like he's soon going to win the top spot. Amid an expected mass exodus from the platform, a win for independent creators could have a positive ripple effect. "This breakthrough will show independent creators that they can be more successful than large corporations," she said.

CNN —Police have arrested 22 people and seized assets worth more than €600 million ($650 million) in connection with alleged fraud linked to the European Union’s post-pandemic recovery fund. The alleged fraud is likely to renew concerns about the misuse of the EU’s €800-billion recovery fund to help revive the bloc’s economy. The European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) said a criminal organization is suspected of running a fraud scheme between 2021 and 2023 to swindle Italy’s recovery packages. The prosecutor’s office claimed the group used cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence and offshore cloud servers to carry out and conceal the fraud. The United States has also attempted to crack down on alleged fraud involving Covid-19 relief resources.

Read previewYouTube megastar MrBeast doesn't like traditional job titles. Instead, he prefers to call his employees "friends of friends," or "FOFs." Experts say leaning away from traditional work structures, like disregarding job titles, may give the illusion of an employer providing a better culture, but in reality, these frameworks persist because they are important. "Get job titles defined and what someone's actually in charge of, and everyone will be able to hold each other to account about whether all the wheels are turning neatly." A cautionary taleTravis Lindemoen, the founder and CEO of the recruitment startup Enjoy Mondays, told BI that "friends of friends" set off "alarm bells" for him.

Farrer is better known as the Timepiece Gentleman, the flashiest online dealer in the $75 billion luxury watch trade. All he needed was the right name for his luxury watch business — something distinctive, something memorable. In his mind, he pictured what the ultimate luxury watch dealer would look like. To launch his career as the Timepiece Gentleman, Farrer boned up on the jargon of horology, from escape wheels and spring barrels to flinques and guilloches. Despite the staggering size of the luxury watch trade, nobody had thought to market its glamour and mystique.

Lamborghini sold more than 10,000 vehicles last year for the first time ever and Ferrari had a more than 17% increase in revenue. But customers purchasing Lamborghinis, Rolls-Royces and Bentleys have an even wider array of infinitely customizable paint colors and interior materials, to start with, than carmakers offer for less expensive brands. If the customer has a favorite shirt, for example, the car paint could be matched to the fabric color. At Dixon’s Rolls-Royce dealership three quarters of the roughly 90 cars sold each year include some degree of custom options, she said. While she and Rolls-Royce’s design team can provide guidance, in the end, the choices have to be the customer’s.

Plus, I was already using Amazon Multichannel Fulfillment, so it made sense to turn on Buy With Prime as a channel. Dragon Glassware has generated more than $2.1 million in sales this year, and we project an additional $2 million to $3 million before the end of the year. Insider Today: Side hustles' turning point

A new study from Morgan Stanely makes the case that generative AI will enable people to work multiple jobs, writes Insider's Alistair Barr. In the US alone, multi-earning has increased 11% over the past year, largely thanks to the rise of generative AI tools like ChatGPT. New research from EY found that nearly 40% of Gen Zers had a side hustle to earn extra money. Adding fuel to the fire is the fact bosses don't seem to care if their employees are working multiple jobs, albeit with one caveat. To be sure, executives' acceptance of employees working multiple jobs might be short-lived.

A Tesla Model S drag raced a Bugatti Chiron. The Bugatti won, but the races were surprisingly close given the cost difference between the cars. The channel pitted the sportiest Tesla you can buy — a four-door Model S Plaid with the optional Track Package — against the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, a multimillion-dollar supercar from a brand synonymous with world-beating performance. But the results were closer than you might expect — especially given that the Model S will run you only a little over $100,000. I say "only" because the Chiron Super Sport would have cost at least $4 million when new.

MALIBU, California – The most amazing thing about the $2.1 million Rimac Nevera is how easy it is to just get in and drive. It sits low — very low — to the ground, and at first glance it looks like the simple act of getting into it could be complicated. Gears are shifted with a big knob to the left of the steering wheel, the power seat's adjustments are hidden in a touchscreen, and switches for the turn signals and headlights are mounted directly on the steering wheel. One of the first things I noticed as we got underway is that it's easy to see out of the Nevera. And the Nevera is very special indeed — as it should be for its just over $2 million asking price.

CNN —The Lamborghini Lanzador is only a concept car for now, but the Italian supercar maker says it offers a preview of the brand’s very first fully electric model which will go into production in 2028. With no space needed for a gas engine — in a gas-powered Lamborghini sports car, it would be behind the seats — the Lanzador has small back seats. Other automakers, like Rimac and Automobili Pininfarina (which uses Rimac technology), already sell electric two-seat supercars costing millions of dollars. Porsche — which like Lamborghini is part of the Volkswagen Group — took a similar approach with its first EV. Lamborghini has committed to selling only “electrified vehicles,” meaning either plug-in hybrid or fully electric, by the end of 2024.

Late one night in early December, Aiden Pleterski, a self-proclaimed “Crypto King,” was kidnapped, then beaten and tortured over three days, according to court records. This week, Akil Heywood, 39, who had invested with Mr. Pleterski, 24, was charged with kidnapping him. The Toronto Police Service said in a statement on Monday that it had arrested and charged four men on counts of kidnapping for ransom and other charges: Mr. Heywood, Tyler Fast, 37, and Deren Akyeam-Pong, 24, all of Toronto, as well as Rakeem Henry, 24, of London. Mr. Heywood was among dozens who invested with Mr. Pleterski, who was supposed to invest their money in cryptocurrency and foreign exchange positions, according to court documents. But after spending money feeding a lavish lifestyle, buying three Lamborghinis and three McLarens, Mr. Pleterski filed for bankruptcy in August, leaving investors wondering what had happened to their money.

Driving Lamborghini's new off-road supercar

I was driving a $380,000 Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, and I couldn’t help laughing out loud. Lamborghini worked with Bridgestone to create tires using rubber similar to that on Lamborghini’s other performance tires, but with an off-road tread. The idea for it emerged while Lamborghini engineers and designers were having beers after a day driving off-road in a prototype of the Urus SUV. That was a lot of fun, they thought, but wouldn’t driving one of our all-wheel-drive supercars off-road be even better? Even those of us who can’t afford one should perhaps be glad the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato exists.
EV made up almost 12% of all car sales in Singapore last year, up from almost 4% in 2021, according to the Land Transport Authority. Still, EVs represented just 1% of cars on the road, a Reuters analysis of ownership data found. In Singapore, a small island with an extensive public transport system, only about 12 cars are owned per 100 people. Over the past decade, the number of Ferraris (RACE.MI) in Singapore has grown by 67% and Lamborghinis by 38%. The art collective chose the Miami location because "there is a dense concentration of people renting Lamborghinis and wearing Rolexes." And because the leaderboard keeps a continuous record, MSCHF hopes that they can show the ATM at more events as well.
